The City Gate

   A ministry to the homeless and displaced community on the streets of Spokane.

  

The City Gate at 170 S. Madison, the corner of Madison and 2nd in downtown Spokane.

Overview

The City Gate is a ministry to the homeless and displaced community on the streets of Spokane. Our outreach is designed to help people build healthy relationships and to manage their lives using therapy and counseling to foster healing. We believe scripture tells us to submit to one another, love one another and put others before yourself. City Gate is a church and holds regular services. We come here to serve and honor Jesus and serve others as examples of His love and acceptance. To accomplish our goals we offer the following services to all who come: 

  • We serve 2,600 meals a month to those in need. 

  • We operate the Alberta House, a 30 unit SRO for low-income clients including 3 units for emergency housing.

  • We operating a clothing and food bank.

  • Holding church services on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.

  • We also lease space to Cup of Cool Water, an outreach to kids living on the street in Spokane.
