Overview

We establish or re-establish Christian presence in areas (whether geographic or ideological) where there has been an encroachment of secularism or deterioration of community due to loss of Christian expression. Our Christian witness effectively reduces and overcomes bias against Christian expression helping Christians gain credibility and ease of communication of their faith. We believe that Christian expression is an appropriate aspect of all human inter-relations and that personal and mutual experience of the salvation Christ extends to us is what most affirms us in our human identity and purpose.

LCBF Ministry Focuses Include:

  • Public witness and soul-winning at public schools (and colleges) and traffic intersections,
  • Christian pastoral guidance leading worship for residents, staff, family and visitors of Lilac Plaza Retirement Home, 
  • Promotion of Scripture Songs - singing lyrics of the writ of the Bible.

  • Meetings for worship are Sundays, 10a.m. at Lilac Plaza Retirement Home (7007 N. Wiscomb)
