Prison Fellowship

Providing a comprehensive ministry to those touched by crime

Overview

Prison Fellowship was established by Charles Colson following his incarceration for a Watergate-related crime. Prison Fellowship exists to exhort, equip, and assist the Church in its ministry to prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families. Prison Fellowship develops Ministry Delivery Teams community by community to help churches build a network of ministry that follows prisoners from jail to prison and prison back to the community. Our goal is to make disciples of Christ among those touched by crime.

Resources We Offer

  • Training in ministry to prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families.

  • Bible study materials, classes, seminars for prisoners.

  • Angel Tree Christmas program for prisoners' children 

  • Angel Tree Camping for prisoners' children 

  • Angel Tree Mentoring for prisoners' children 

  • Aftercare ministry including classes, practical needs (food/clothing), mentors, and transitional housing.
